The fruit is highly flavored, beautiful and solidly netted, little if any suture and no ribs, spicy-salmon colored flesh. Fruit 2.5 – 3 lbs., uniform in size, slight oval shape.

Planting: Plant seeds ½ inch deep.

For Ground Plot Planting: Plant 6-7 seeds in hills spaced 60” apart. Thin to leave the best seedling per hill. Packet will cover 70’ row.

For Raised Bed Planting: Plant 2 seeds 15 – 24” apart. Thin to 1 plant per 24”. Packet will cover 60-140 sq. ft.

Minty Cucumber and Cantaloupe Salad

1 large ripe cantaloupe, cubed
4 medium cucumbers, chopped
8 oz. feta cheese, cubed or crumbled (optional)
½ bunch mint, chopped
For the Honey-Lime Dressing:
¼ cup olive or canola oil
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
Juice and zest of 1 lime
2 tablespoons honey
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions: Place the cantaloupe and cucumbers in a salad bowl. Add the cubed feta if using and mint. Place all salad dressing ingredients in a lidded jar and shake vigorously. Pour on the salad, toss gently, and serve cold.
