Planting: Sow 15 seeds per foot. Plant seeds 1/8 inch deep.

Ground Plot Planting: Plant in rows 18” apart. Thin plants to stand 6-8” apart. Seed packet will plant a 35’ row.

Raised Bed Planting: Thin plants to stand 8 – 12” apart. Seed packet will plant 30 – 65 sq. ft.

Asian Greens with Garlic

1½ pounds choy sum (Chinese broccoli or substitute baby bok choy)
1 tablespoon peanut oil
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions: Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Meanwhile, trim ends from choy sum. Blanch greens in the water until just tender, about 1 minute. Drain greens and set aside on a plate. Heat oil in a wok or a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until lightly browned, 1–2 minutes. Add soy sauce and 1 tbsp. water; cook for 1 minute. Pour garlic sauce over greens.
