Planting: Plant seeds ¼ inch deep.

Ground Plot Planting: Plant in rows spaced 18” apart. Thin plants to stand at least 1-3” apart in the row. Packet will cover a 25’ row.

Raised Bed Planting: Thin plants to stand at least 2-4”” apart. Packet will cover 5 – 20 sq. ft.

• Radishes have been cultivated in China for 3,000 years, but their wild varieties can be traced back to several regions spanning Asia to the Mediterranean.

• They are rich in fiber and can be used for a multitude of health benefits including as a digestive tonic, a way to clear the sinuses, ease sore throats, and they even contain cancer-fighting antioxidants.

• Their awesome anti-microbial properties made them a detoxifier in traditional medicine.

Radish and Apple Salad

1 bunch (about 12) radishes, cut into chunks (about 2 cups) 1 apple, cut into chunks (about 1 cup)
Juice of 1 lime
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

Directions: Put the radish and apple chunks in a bowl. Drizzle and toss in the lime and olive oil. Sprinkle generously with salt and toss in the cilantro. Serve.

Spring Radish Salad

1⁄2 bunch of parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch of pepper
2 pinches of salt

Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Taste the salad and make adjustments to your liking.
