Some of the crossings, you could do hopping on rocks, several others we took off boots or carefully crossed different regions of the crossing. At 14.7 miles the Jeremy's Run loop is one of the longest in the SNP. LOTS OF POISON IVY!
A good flowing trail network will have most trails flowing in a single direction according to their intension. We simply just walked to the jeremy's run entrance.
No problems and had a great time. To be clear the boundary access to Jermey’s run is closed , all trails inside the park are open and accessible from the park / SLD . Zero line of sight when everything is growing. Hiked this trail yesterday. Some trails or park services may be closed this weekend so check with local authorities before heading out. We never did find any vista's or any places that looked like camping areas along the trail. At times I wondered if I was on the right trail but I didn’t see any other turns and the path finally started to match the expected route. The hike back to the car was steep after leaving Jeremy's Run but had great views once at the ridge line. NOT OKAY! • Turn right just beyond station and go 0.1 miles into parking lot. I'm writing this note as an FYI because today we tried to access Jeremy's Run from SR 611 in the valley, but we could not. Bushwhacked under the telephone pole line to start (lots of fresh blackberries) then leveled out on Matthews Arm “trace” and traversed the Mt Knob trail, dropped down to Jeremy’s Run and up to the AT, crossing Skyline Drive and back to Piney Run finishing at Redbird Camp CCC.
