Literally in the middle of nowhere in West Virginia, it provides food, gas, and tacky gift shop all in one. My family stopped for breakfast when traveling in the area.
They stop in to chat, gossip and eat. There was only hand sanitizer in the restroom - no soap. Super friendly and awesome stop on our road trip!
It also does not provide gas or have a "tacky gift shop."
They have all kinds of specialty barbecue sauces on sale that I kicked myself for not buying.$20 limit for credit cards. The food is seriously the best & the atmosphere is down home & friendly. While it might be "in the middle of nowhere, West Virginia;" It is not "fabulous." Excellent food and staff were so warm and welcoming we ate all of our meals there and were completely satisfied with everything I highly recommend this little roadside restaurant they were fabulous and did not disappoint! Entrees were disgusting and frozen. INCREDIBLE. If this is the place I am thinking of, it's fabulous.

Gross. Besides being known for having excellent coffee, other cuisines they offer include American, and Cafeterias. Friendly staff. So bummed, I really wanted to like this place! more. Get quick answers from Mallows Roadside Cafe staff and past visitors. If you go, bring some patience, listen to what the locals are talking about and maybe share a story or two.
Fortunately,...we were not in a hurry and the wait was not excessive.
