After about 1/4 mile, the Palmetto Trail splits off to the right but we stayed to the left on Raven Rock, climbing through the open forest.

After the trail turns back into the forestry road, you'll pass Saddleback trail on the right.

You will begin your hike on the Natural Bridge Trail and shortly after you cross Poe Creek on the Natural Bridge, you will turn right onto the Raven Rock Trail. The Cape Fear Canoe Trail is a 56 mile trek along the Cape Fear River.

This trail also has some other cool water features like mini waterfalls and cascades, a beautiful bridge, and the entrance to Lanier Falls Trail. 40.1 km It is a lot more immense than you would think it is. This trail goes right through Raven Rock State Park. This creek is stunning.

Another really cool thing about Raven Rock is the amount of trails for mountain biking and horseback riding. The Rocks are stunning and should be at the top of your list when first visiting.
