Listen to this week's edition of our reflections on the Gospel reading for the fifth Sunday in Lent, where Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die". I think it’s easy to focus on the miracle itself, but what I find so interesting in this story is that Jesus knew Lazarus was dead yet we are told he was deeply troubled, perturbed, and He wept.

', 44 The dead man came out, his feet and hands bound with strips of material, and a cloth over his face.

', 12 The disciples said to him, 'Lord, if he is at rest he will be saved.'. Anyone who believes in me, even though that person dies, will live.

20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming she went to meet him. 44 He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth.
