Please continue this series. ABC did not officially renew The Doctor Blake Mysteries for season 6 yet. I'm thrilled to hear there will be another season of Doctor Blake (and hopefully the powers that be can be persuaded to do more).

Here in the US we are able to view the DVD’s and find the show fascinating …..in fact ahead of Midsomer Murders from England which is also well done, but a bit more fanciful…..Blake is a real character as are the others on the show and is Australia’s answer to Sherlock Holmes. He is later posted in a London hospital, where he joins the British Army as a medical officer. Great series and will be very disappointed if the show is cancelled. wow. With so little good on American tv these days we cannot afford to lose a program of this quality. Australian WWII veteran Doctor Lucien Blake solves crimes in Ballarat. Five series aired as of 2017, with a telemovie to close the program at the completion o… There was no explanation as to why or how this happened. the last episode of season five had us both on the edge of our seats.
